Gmail access and use

The owner authorizes the monitor through Google. It retrieves recent messages and their thread context using Gmail read access. Local rules identify requests, decisions, deadlines and follow-ups.

When alerts are enabled, the sending account uses Gmail send access to deliver alerts to the owner’s designated inbox. Alerts can include brief excerpts, deadlines and links to Gmail.

Storage and sharing

The monitor stores refresh credentials in macOS Keychain. Private local files hold synchronization cursors, deduplication hashes, service status and delivery history. Those files do not contain message bodies or attachments.

The monitor does not use mailbox data for advertising or model training or submit messages to an AI service. Its use of data obtained from Google Workspace APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your controls

The owner can revoke access in Google Account settings and remove the monitor’s credentials and state from the Mac. Delivered alerts remain in the corresponding mailboxes until their owners delete them.
